Questions educators ask

Are the Daisy teacher's guides really free?

Yes. Every teacher's guide, interactive classroom guide, and the activity book are free for classroom, counseling, library, and homeschool use. We only ask you to register so we know who is using them.

What ages are the Daisy books and guides for?

The lessons are written for children ages 5 to 10, with activities organized by grade band from kindergarten through grade 5. Many activities adapt easily for Pre-K.

Are the lessons aligned to a social-emotional learning framework?

Yes. Each guide maps the story to the five CASEL competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

Do I need the books to use the guides?

The guides are built around reading the book aloud, so you will want a copy of the matching Daisy book. Discussion questions reference specific moments in each story.

What happens to my information?

We use it only to give you access and to understand which classrooms we are serving. We will never sell, rent, or share your information. Announcement emails are optional and you can stop them anytime.
